Let me start off by staying that September was a crazy month. It was not a month to remember. I am hoping that October is better for me and the people around me. Anyway, the scrap group closed out the month by having a 12 hour crop. Thanks to my BFF Angel. LOL She was able to reserve a place for us to crop. There were sooo many munchies there we all pretty much forgot to eat "real" food. LOL It was good to get out and chat with the girls. Scrapbooking helps me relax and focus on the great moments in life. Although I was only able to complete 2 pages. I had a great time. I was able to start the third page but of course I didnt finish it. But it is in fact half way done.

But there's always time for some scrapbooking. LOL. Truthfully things have been nuts here. Not just at home but with mine and DH's family. Without going into too much details and that way no one either falls asleep or has a heartattack with some of the things that are going on, let's just say sometimes too much information is just that "Too much information". Anyway I have to begin to teach myself that distance is probably the best thing. That way my name doesnt get thrown out there. I don't want the drama and I know that I don't NEED the drama. Right now I need to focus on my family that consists of my DD and my DH. Anyway, on the upside I have been pretty productive on the scrapbooking part of my life. This month I have hosted a crop here at home. Which I purchased a webcam that way we can get Mary in on the crop. That was so much fun. That crop lasted till the wee hours of the morning. Which I enjoy. I love just hanging out with the girls and having a few laughs. Well actually a lot of laughs. Just last weekend I attended the in-store crop at the croppe shop. We had a good time as always. So like I said I did get a few things done this month. Check it out.
I even had the guts to enter a contest on the creative scrappers site. I entered my layout for the weekly sketch challenge. Here is my version of the layout.

Well I know I have been gone for a while but I can explain.. The last two weeks in July I was in NY with my daughter. Then I came back home along with my mother and brother. Five days after getting home, me and Dominick left to go to Las Vegas for vacation. Wow did we love it. I cant wait to go back. We did a lot of sight seeing and gambling. We played craps for the first time and did real well. After a over 12 hour flight (with layovers) we made it back here in Jax. With only 2 hours of broken sleep I took Emily to a BBQ to say goodbye to some friends who are and already has moved to W VA. Later that night we did a girls night out. So between running around with my family that is here in town and my daughters playgroup life, Along came TS Fay. This storm lasted for 3 days straight. Talk about cabin fever. But some good news.. My scraproom is done. I am now on the market for a workdesk and plan to get in there soon. I have a lot of new pictures that I need to work on. I bought some supplies to use for these pictures. I cant wait for all the hecticness to die down. I just want to sit with my music and my pictures and scrap away.

No I havent been hiding under a rock or anything.. Things have just been seriously busy here. Dominick's business is really taking off and I have practically become the office girl. LOL But I have been trying to get some scrapping done in between. I have started working on Mary's kit and I might add that its coming out pretty good. I am guessing that this is my way of learning techniques outside the box. Some of the things I have been doing I would have never have thought to do. Shes a good teacher. LOL. Well last night I attended a all day crop. I needed that too. I was able to get three pages done. I am wanting to work more on Mary's kit today. I just wanted to make sure that I had the pictures I needed to add to it. I hate not being fully prepared. I also need to hit the stores too. Making memories has this new passport line. I need to have it. I dont think I have ever felt that I needed the whole line of any product before. LOL Any way here are some of the stuff I have done recently.

Well scrapsimmee is less than a week away.I am sooo excited. The things we have planned for that weekend should really make it fun. This past friday I hosted a crop. Mary was working on a LO that came so cute. The theme was scrap diva. And we all served her. My job was serving her cookies. Like I said it came out so cute it made LO of the day!! (on the scraptastic site)That night I was able to work out on a LO as well. Cute but not nearly as cute as the stuff that Mary comes up with. I keep joking that I am going to work on her SG kit at scrapsimmee and when I am done I am going to have her autograph the last page. LOL she is going to be a scrapcelb soon enough. Well gotta run dinner is on the stove. But here is my layout..

Time is sure flying... Scrapsimmee is quickly approaching. I am getting nervous and excited at the same time. This will be the first time I am leaving Dominick and Emily for that long. This is also my first retreat. I know I am going to have a good time. Anyway, I havent been up to much lately due to the fact that I have been soooo busy. But this was the most recent thing I have done. I soo cant wait to get my scraproom done. There would be more progress

Ok so I haven't posted anything new in a few but a lot has happened in the past 2 weeks or so. I found out that I am going to scrapsimmee with the girls from the scrap group. Money did play an issue, but my SIL told me that she will be covering the hotel portion of my trip. These past few weeks I have been taking care of my nephew and it wasn't just a stay during the day thing. This was a stay a over a few day thing. Plus I will have him staying with us for a week. My SIL and BIL are going to Mexico for a week. Plus, I found out that Kerry reserved the room. Me and her are rooming together. I am really looking forward to this retreat weekend. Its from April 18 to the 20th. Emily will be staying at home with Dominick. I am not worried about him taking care of her I am more worried about what type of mess I will be coming home to.
This past friday we had our scrap group hostess crop and our hostess this month was Mary. I stood at her house till about 2am. Kerry was actually the last one to leave. I was able to get 2 layouts done that night. I was getting sidetracked or else I think I would have gotten more done. Check it out:

I think the next thing I do is alter a book. I have been in the mood to do that for a while. Also a big congrats to Mary!!! (applause) Her SG kit sold out in less than a week. I am guilty of purchasing one of those kits! I can't wait to get it too! I guess I will have something to do at scrapsimmee! On that note here is a countdown to scrapsimmee! Ok. So I was able to get a page done last night. This was before I put Emily to bed so I was kinda surprised that she didnt disturb me while I was cropping. Anyway, I tried to get more silly with it as Dominick would say. Check out what I did: On a happy note. I am more than likely going to scrapsimee with the scrap group girls. All I have to say is that I am going to be dead tired when I get back. I was able to do some budgeting and everything looks good. It even seems like I will have a bit more cash than I expected. Whoo Hooo!! I cant wait.

Finally I am able to say that. What a week I had. I have been watching kids (other than my one) for 6 out of 7 days. All I can say is wheew. I am not sure if I want to do that again. Plus, my mom was in town until yesterday so that was a big help. I think if I had to do it by myself I would have really lost my mind. By weeks end, I was completly done for. But now its time to move forward. I made a trip to the scrapbook store today to buy some goodies. I am hoping to get scrapping sometime soon. I need it.

Yeah I am up this early. As a matter of fact I have been up since 6am! I took DH to work this morning. We are leaving for south Florida this afternoon. My mom and my little brother are flying in from NY this morning. So I dragged my DD out of her comfy crib this morning. And I kind of prepared myself for her to end up staying up. But surprisingly she stood sleeping and is back in her comfy crib. I guess she had a rough couple of days with my nephew being here during the days and all. So, I was up till 11:30 last night working on my SG challenge that Mary has posted. I began working on it at ten. I kinda feel that I threw it together. But I look at it this way. Its a random drawing. As least I have something in there. So here it is.
Like I said I felt like I threw this together. ButI really wanted to enter the contest. Well I am going to keep my fingers crossed. I hope I win something.
Well I am going to see some family this weekend in Miami. My cousin just had baby number 2 and I cant wait to meet her. I am so ready to get some good pictures and scrap some more.

I finally printed out the pic of what I am going to use in Mary's SG layout challange. I kinda have the idea of the layout in my head. I am hoping to get to AC moore this afternoon to get some embellies for the LO. I would go now but I realized that I have only 1 carseat and 2 kids. So I am kinda stuck here till DH gets home to keep an eye on them. I have to finish it tonight, so I should be posting a pic of it later this evening. See you later.

Let me start by saying I am totally exhausted. I was out cropping till 4 am last night. By the time I got home, unloaded the car and get myself ready for bed. It was 5am. I was awoken this morning at 7:20 am to a almost 2 year old saying "Mommy, where are you?" SO I drag myself out of bed cause Dominick is working today. (his weekend to work) Make myself a pot of coffee, and my phone is beeping with messages. Yes at this time. By noon the pot of coffee kicked in and I began to crop some new stuff. I also did some finishing touches to the ones that I completed last night. I then began to submit my entries for the Scrappy Gourmet birthday challenges. I am hoping to win something. I never win anything. LOL Its actually going to be drawing so I hope to have some luck. This is what I completed last night: The second one had some things added to it but I didnt have a updated picture.But I figured that you get the idea. This afternoon I figured since I am up I might as well try to get as much done for the challange as I can. I made a card but I totally didnt like the way it came out so I didnt even take a picture of it. I made another page with Dominick and Emily at my little brothers basketball game. This picture was taken last week while we where in NY for a little vacation. I have Mary's challenge that I want to work on before the deadline on the 14th.

Since I have been back from NY (almost a week now) I have only done one layout. I really need to get back on the ball. I have all sort of ideas flowing in my little brain of mine, but when I sit down to actually crop. Poof. My mind is blank. I dont know if its cause I get distracted while I am cropping or its because I dont have a true place to call my crop area. Dominick (my DH) told me that once we find out what our tax return looks like, I can have the storage room upstairs as my crop space. I cant wait cause I know I will be able to keep my stuff all out in the open without fearing that Emily will get into my stuff. So here is what I done so far this week.

Mary has a contest on our scrappers site about LOVE. I have all sorts of thoughts about my next page in my head. I also have some goodies to make that page happen. Now my new problem is what picture do I use for it. LOL I am hoping to get something done tonight. And have it posted here tomorrow.

Ok so I have been officially scrapbooking for 6 months. I am surprised that I am actually able to create as many pages as I have. I didnt think that I had an artisic side to me. Am I as good as I want to be? NO! My goal in the future is to be good enough to be on a design team. As to when I think I would be ready? I have no idea. Do I think I have pages ready to be submitted into any kind of contest? Umm.. Maybe. There are still so much that I feel I need to learn and want to learn. Here is some of the stuff I have done.


My goal for this year is to do at least 100 layouts and at least 10 cards. I know that is a low goal. But like my blog says, I am new to the game.
